Portland, Maine
Commissioned by Maine Center for Creativity

Possibly the largest painted public art project in the world in terms of size at 24,000 m2 (260,000 sq ft.), the work is painted onto a total of 14 industrial storage tanks. The work is visible from satellite, from the aeroplanes serving Portland Jetport, from the motorway, by foot or even from the boats on the river that runs directly in front. All these points of view and their differing speeds were taken into consideration when creating the work.
